Eileen M. Huggins, 83 of Stuart, FL passed away in the comfort of her home, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born in Somerville, MA to the parents of William P. Sloane, Sr. and Gladys Dempsey Sloan. Eileen attended Parochial school in Boston, MA. She has been a resident of Stuart for 6 years coming from Elizabeth City, NC. Eileen was a member of St. Andrews Catholic Church in Stuart and an active member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Elizabeth, NC. Her activities included a member of NARF, National Active & Retired Federal Employees Association, and she served as Vice-Pres. of South River Condominiums in Stuart. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include: her husband, Richard C. Huggins of Stuart, FL; sons, Richard P. Huggins (Mary Ann) of Poulsbo, WA, John B. Huggins of Texas and David W. Huggins and Robert F. Huggins. a daughter, Kathleen Overton (Quinton) of Stuart, FL; a brother, William Sloan (Helen) of Somerville, MA; a sister, Nancy Percuoco (Anthony) of Salem, NH; 10 grandchildren. She will be lovingly remembered by her family as an excellent, devoted wife and mother. Services will be held Friday, March 20 at Saint Andrew Catholic Church. 2100 SE Cove Rd.
