Ms. Eda Howe Anderson, 87 of Port St. Lucie, FL went home to be with the Lord on October 11, 2019 at St. Lucie Medical Center. She was born in Clarendon, Jamaica on November 15, 1931 to Brenetta Howe. She went to school in Jamaica and came to the United States in 2009. She was a woman who loved the Lord and was a member of Heritage Baptist Church in Port St. Lucie, FL under the leadership of Pastor Ronald C. Downs. Ms. Anderson, will be lovingly remembered by her family and those who knew her best, for her expertise in cooking, and for just genuinely loving her family. She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, Mr. Anderson; 3 sisters, and 1 brother, Clifford Thomas. Left behind to cherish her sweet memories are: an only son, Vincent Tucker of Port St. Lucie, FL; a host of grandchildren, great and great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends who will miss her dearly. Services: Visitation will be held on Friday, October 25, 2019 at Thorne's Mortuary Chapel from 5pm-7pm, and a Homegoing Celebration will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at 11am, Heritage Baptist Church; 2490 SE Melaleuca Blvd, Port St. Lucie, FL 34952. Ms. Anderson will await the resurrection at Rolling Oaks Cemetery also in Port St. Lucie, FL. She has been entrusted into the professional care of Thorne's Mortuary in Stuart, FL.
