Delois Miller McClain, 65, a resident of Hobe Sound, FL, died at the Manors at Hobe Sound. She was born in Martin County, FL to the parents of David Miller and Eula Bell Washington-Miller. Delois graduated from Stuart Training School and later from cosmetology school in Palm Beach County (North Tech). She was a member of New Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Hobe Sound where she served on the usher board and pastor's aid committee. She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Eula Bell Miller; her husband, Jonathan McClain, Jr.; a son, Eric V. McClain; and a sister, Betty Jean Smith. Surviving to cherish her precious memories are: a devoted son and daughter-in-law, Jonathan A. McClain, III (Della) of Hobe Sound, FL; a loving daughter and son-in-law, Eula D. Weaver (Ollice)of Tallahassee, FL; a caring sister, Ruth Fields of Bronx, NY; 7 beautiful grandchildren and 1 adorable great-grandchild; 2 loving nieces, Sandra Owens and Valerie Smith (Isaac) of Wood Bridge, VA; a host of other relatives including cousins and friends who will always remember her "winning smile". Services: Visitation will be held on Friday, June 25, 2010 from 4pm-7pm at New Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 8224 SE Pettway Avenue in Hobe Sound (33455). A homegoing celebration will be held on Saturday, June 26, 2010, 11:00am at the church with Pastor David George officiating. Burial will follow at Banner Lake Cemetery in Hobe Sound.
