Ms. Crystal Lynette Battle , of Marietta, GA passed away at  her residence on Saturday, August 25, 2018.  She was born to the parents of the late Reverend Leonard Clayton Battle, Sr. and Felicia Marie Mitchell Battle.  Crystal attended the public schools of Martin County and St. Lucie County including Port St. Lucie High School. Crystal was a home maker.  She dearly loved her children and her family.  Although her favorite colors were blue, brown and gold, Crystal had an uncontrollable fetish for shoes.  She was totally unselfish and shared freely with others her expertise in culinary arts. The kitchen was her favorite place to be when preparing many delicious meals for her family and friends while enjoying much laughter, joy and fun. Along with her father, Crystal was also preceded in death by: paternal grandparents Johnny Lee and Jeldrine Battle; maternal grandparents, Joseph and Nettie Mae Mitcheler; uncles, including a favorite uncle Willard "Bobby" Preston, Graylan Steve Mitchell, Curtis "Jake" Riggins and Willie D. Bythwood; aunts, Melvina Andrews, Margie Preston, Lula Bythwood, Lorene Battle-Hogan and Willie Mae Bythwood. Her big beautiful smile shall always be cherished by her family and friends.  Remaining behind to forever love and cherish her precious memories are: 5 sons , Joshua Jamel Battle, Jakeem Jamaine Battle, Jaydon Jessi Battle, Jeremiah Joseph Battle and Josiah Jordan Battle, all of Port St. Lucie, FL; a daughter, Jalecia Jianna Cervone of Port St. Lucie, FL; a loving mother , Felicia Battle-Barrett of Port St. Lucie, FL; 4 caring brothers , Leonard Clayton Battle, Jr., Michael Mitchell, Lester Bolt and Dexter Bolt; 3 dear sisters , Josephine Carletha Carter of Jacksonville, FL, Talana Monique Mitchell (Dominique) and Ranika Lachae Hart (Robert), all of Port St. Lucie, FL; uncles , Reverend Daniel Weaver (Ethel Mae) of Hobe Sound, Allen Bythwood, Sr. (Brenda) of Ft. Pierce, FL, Freddie Lee Davis of California, Frederick Battle of Stuart, FL, and Wilford L. Battle of Colorado; aunts, Sonia Rebecca Mitcheler and Mary Lee Preston of Miami, FL, Laura Riggins of Tallahassee, FL, Ida Mae Crist (McKinley) of Stuart, FL, Mary Hammer (Doug), Rita Battle and Joanne Battle all of Stuart, FL; Blondey McColister and Aunty Ola Mae;  a host of nieces, nephews, cousins including a special cousin, Emma "Tinka" Smith of Jonesboro, GA; godchildren , Tiffany Smiley and Kandra Scott; best friend , Lakeshia Burr  and a plethora of other friends and other family members who will dearly miss her. Service:  Visitation to be held on Friday, September 7, 2018 from 5pm-7pm at New Allen Temple AME Church in Hobe Sound, FL.  A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 1:00pm, at the church, 8620 SE Comus Street in Hobe Sound, FL  33455.  Burial will follow at Fernhill Memorial Gardens in Stuart, FL  34994.
