Ms. Cora Jones Rozier, 87, of Stuart, FL died at Martin Memorial Medical Center-North in Stuart on March 22, 2008. She was born in Marietta, FL to the parents of Willie D. Jones, Sr. and Iona Baker-Jones. During her earlier years, she was employed as a domestic worker for private homes. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Iona Baker; her devoted husband of 65 yrs. Elmer Rozier on October 1, 2007; and she was the last of six siblings. Left to cherish her precious memories are: a stepson, Walter Oden (Edith) of Miami, FL; a devoted niece and caregiver, Audrey Jones of Port Salerno, FL; nephews, Pernell Jones (Mary) of Port Salerno, FL and Charles Rozier (Cynthia) of Stuart, FL; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 28, 2008 from 4-7pm at Thorne's Mortuary Chapel. A "Home Going Celebration" will be observed on Saturday, March 29, 2008 at Love Temple Church of God By Faith in Stuart, FL at 2:30pm. Burial will follow at Fernhill Memorial Gardens and Mausoleum in Stuart.
