Obituary for Constance Regina "Connie" Shoots

Constance Regina Shoots, affectionately known as "Connie", passed away peacefully at Jupiter Medical Center on Sunday, June 9, 2019.
She was born to the loving parents of Lillie Mae Brits Yorker and Victor Brits on September 18, 1951.
Affectionately known as "Connie" to all who knew her, she graduated from Okeechobee High School in the Class of 1969.  She enlisted into the United States Air Force and after her service to her country, she received an honorable discharge.
Connie was married to John (Walgreen) Jarvis and to this union three children were born. She and her husband loved and raised Armetta Jarvis, "an angel sent from God", who brought so much joy to their lives before the Lord called her home.
She resided in Detroit, Michigan for a while before returning to Florida, until her untimely demise.
Connie will always be remembered as a nurturing person who took on assisting with the care of her sister, Myra Brits' children after her death.  She was a loving and giving person who possessed superb culinary skills. Connie was a member of Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church in Okeechobee.
Connie leaves to cherish her precious memories as well as celebrate her homegoing: one daughter , Bridgette Williams (Terry), Okeechobee, FL; a son , Cornelius Jarvis (Natasha), Arcadia, FL; grandchildren , Terry Williams, Jr., Ashley Jarvis, A'latiara Jarvis, and Cashara Jarvis, all of Okeechobee, FL, Cody Jarvis and Aeneas Jarvis, both of Tampa, FL, Cornesha Jarvis, Okeechobee, FL, Charizma Jarvis, Wellington, FL, Zarionna Jarvis and Asianna Payne, both of Arcadia, FL; great-grandchildren , Avin, TaNorris and Cashari, all of Okeechobee, FL; special nieces , Tiffany Brits Warner Robins, Georgia and Carol Yorker, New Port Richey, FL; godson , Edward Munoz and a host of other sorrowing relatives and friends.
Services: Visitation will be held on Friday, June 21, 2019 at Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church in Okeechobee, FL from 5pm-7pm and a            Homegoing Celebration will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Okeechobee, FL at 11am with Pastor Maurice Alexander, officiating.
She will await the resurrection at Evergreen Cemetery in Okeechobee, FL.
Arrangements have been entrusted into the professional care of Thorne's Mortuary in Stuart, FL.
