Obituary for Clinton Carnell Williams Jr. Sgt.

Sgt. Clinton Carnell Williams, Jr., 43 of Okeechobee, FL passed away at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, FL on May 22, 2016. He was born in Miami, FL to the parents of Clinton Williams, Sr. and the late Ollie Wright Williams on February 20, 1973. Clinton graduated from Edison High School, Miami in the Class of 1991 and Albany State University Albany, GA with a Degree in Criminal Justice. He has been employed with the St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office as a deputy and held the title of an operational sergeant. He was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church Dean's Court in Okeechobee and a member of Big Lake Masonic Lodge #621, Okeechobee. Clinton enjoyed weight lifting and was a former professional wrestler. Sgt. Williams was preceded in death by his mother, Ollie Wright Williams. He leaves to cherish precious memories: his wife, Sharon Williams; 2 sons, Eric Williams and Clinton C. Williams, III; a daughter, Clinesha Williams, all of Okeechobee, FL; his father, Clinton C. Williams, Sr. of Miami, FL; 2 brothers, Steven Williams of Hollywood, FL and Dexter Williams of Ocala, FL; and a host of other relatives including, nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors, church family and friends. Services: Visitation will be held on Friday, May 27, 2016 from 5pm-7pm at First Missionary Baptist Church in Okeechobee, FL. A homegoing celebration will be held on Saturday, May28, 2016 - 11am at the church with the pastor, Reverend Leroy B Smith, officiating. He will await the resurrection at Evergreen Cemetery in Okeechobee, FL.
