Christine Clark, 77, of Stuart, FL passed away at Margate Florida NW Hospital. She was born in Rentz, GA to the parents of the late Dennis Jason and the late Rachel Lanier Jason. Christine was educated in the public schools of Laurens County and graduated from Laurens County High School in Georgia. Before retirement, she was gainfully employed as a custodian at Stuart Nursing and Restorative Care. Christine attended Fire Baptism and Truth Church in Miami Gardens, FL under the auspices of Pastor Annette Moore. Along with her parents she was also preceded in death by: her husband, Arthur Clark; siblings, five girls, Iredeal Collins, Velma Sears, Virginia James, Debbie Ifill and Lealer Knight; 4 brothers, J.D. Jason, Dennis Jason and Charles Jason. Survivors include: a loving son, Eugene Samuel Lee King, Sr. (Loretha "Faye") of Stuart, FL,; 2 devoted daughters, Diane King and Sharon Lightman of Coconut Creek, FL; 3 stepsons, Darryl Martin (Candace) of Fitzgerald, GA, Samuel Lee King, Jr.(Darlene)of Cairo, GA and Marvin Martin of Miami, FL; 2 stepdaughters, Angela Martin of Tifton, GA and Christine Robison of South Carolina; 5 wonderful grandchildren and 2 precious great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Flora Mae Dillard (Robert deceased) of Stuart, FL and Bonita Manuel (Robert deceased) of Westin, FL; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, church family neighbors and friends who will miss her dearly. Services: Visitation will be held on Friday, April 8, 2016 from 5pm-7pm at Thorne's Mortuary Chapel. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2016, 11am at St. Paul A.M.E. Church in Stuart, FL. Burial will follow at Fernhill Memorial Gardens in Stuart. Arrangements have been entrusted into the care of Thorne's Mortuary in Stuart.
