Casey Leonard, Sr., 57 of Stuart, FL passed away at his residence on Monday, November 7, 2016.  He was born on August 12, 1959 in Stuart, FL to the parents of  the late Pastor Jessie Lee Leonard  (who recently passed away on August 4, 2016) and Juanita Smith. He was educated in the public schools of Martin County and graduated from Martin County High School.  Casey was employed as a docks and seawalls builder.  During his life he enjoyed watching football, grilling, but his favorite pastime was spending time with his family. Casey was a faithful member of the Church of Christ and could always be seen carrying his bible or reading it. Along with his father, Casey was also preceded in death by a brother, Lee Leonard; a sister, Karen Leonard; uncles, J.C. Leonard and Gus Leonard;  and an aunt, Ann Pickett. Surviving to cherish his precious memories are: a son, Casey Leonard, Jr. of Stuart, FL; a daughter, Nitasha Leonard of Orlando, FL; his mother, Juanita Leonard o9f Stuart, FL; 2 brothers, Arthur Leonard (Lenore) and Otis Leonard of Stuart, FL; 3 sisters, Louise Spann of Stuart, FL, Irene Leonard of Vero Beach, FL and Sharon Leonard of Stuart, FL; 2 grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Services:  A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2016, 10am at Fernhill Memorial Gardens in Stuart, FL Arrangements have been entrusted into the care of Thorne's Mortuary in Stuart, FL.
