Carmelo Cabrera Garcia, 67 of Indiantown, FL passed away at Treasure Coast Hospice in Stuart, FL. He was born to the parents of Esteban Cabrera and Gregoria Garcia on October 3, 1949 in San Turce, Puerto Rico. He was educated in Puerto Rico and has been a resident of Indiantown, FL for 10 years. Survivors include his parents: Gregoria Garcia and Esteban Cabrera of San Turce, Puerto Rico; and 3 brothers, Saturnino Cabrera of Stuart, FL, Antonio Cabrera of York, PA and Luis Cabrera of Fort Lauderdale, FL; 4 sisters, Otilia Cabrera and Maria Cabrera of Middletown, NY, Josephine Bruno and Carmen Cabrera of Indiantown, FL. He was preceded in death by a brother, Philipe Cabrera and a sister, Milagro Cabrera. Services:  Visitation will be held on Friday, March 17, 2017 from 5pm-7pm at Thorne's Mortuary Chapel in Stuart.  A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2017, 11am at the chapel with Pastor Armndo Mendoza officiating.  Burial will follow at Port Mayaca Cemetery in Canal Point, FL. Arrangements have been entrusted into the care of Thorne's Mortuary in Stuart, FL.
