Billy Jones, 76 of Indiantown, FL passed away peacefully at Laurel Pointe Health and Rehabilitation in Fort Pierce, FL on December 27, 2018. He was born in Okeechobee, FL to the parents of the late Jasper Jones and Beatrice Johnson on February 9, 1942.  He grew up in Jacksonville, FL then later, as an adult he moved to Indiantown, FL. During his lifetime he was employed as a foreman for the Martin County Roads department.  He met and later married the love of his life, Sandra Lee Glover on September 6, 1983. Billy was a Christian who loved the Lord with all of his heart.  He was always ready and willing to talk to anyone who would listen, about the goodness of the Lord and how Jesus Christ shed his blood, (on the cross of Calvary) for their salvation. He was a  hard worker, he loved his family and loved being a witness for the Lord. Billy took great pride in being a street ministry pastor in Indiantown. Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by 4 brothers, Aloras Jones, Lawrence Jones, Emanuel Jones and Robert Lee Jones and his only sister, Alvira Jones. He leaves behind to cherish his precious memories: a loving and devoted wife , Sandra Lee Jones of Indiantown, FL; a daughter , Robin Ceasar (Alton) of Orlando, FL;  2 stepsons , Samuel Gilbert of Stuart, FL and James Glover, Jr. of Hinesville, GA; a loving stepdaughter who was also his caregiver and surrogate , Helen Jordan (Freddie) of Stuart, FL;  2 brothers , Jasper Jones (Johnnie Mae) of Fort Lauderdale, FL and Teaster Jones of Port St. Lucie, FL; 2 grand children; and a host of nieces, including a special niece, Marcella Brockington (Larry) of Indiantown, FL;  nephews and cousins, church family and friends who will dearly miss him. Services:   Visitation will be held on Friday, from 4pm-7pm at Thorne's Mortuary Chapel in Stuart, FL.  A Homegoing Celebration will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2019-11am at New Mt. Zion MBC in Indiantown, FL. Arrangements have been entrusted into the care of Thorne's Mortuary in Stuart, FL.
