Ms. Audrey Ann Thomas, 50, of Saint Lucie, County went home to be with the Lord on April 13, 2010. She was born in Hampton, VA on December 4, 1959 to the parentage of the late James V. Files and the late Annie Pearl Williams. She completed her primary and secondary education in the public schools of Virginia and Florida (Her family settled in Okeecho- bee, FL). She was of the Baptist faith. Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by two brothers, William Hayes Thomas and James E. Thomas. Surviving to cherish precious memories are: 6 devoted sisters, Dorothy James of Waterbury, CT, Mary Wright, Pearl Andrews, Miose F. James (Marvin), and Verna Alderman (Carlton, all of Okeechobee, FL, and Tammy Denise Files of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; 3 caring brothers, Vernon Files (Nan) of Windsor, VA, Dave Thomas, Jr. (Mary Jean) and Tony Files (Janet) of Okeechobee, FL; a loving stepfather, Charlie Craedale of Okeechobee, FL; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Services: Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2010 from 10am-11:30am at Thorne's Mortuary Chapel in Stuart. A celebration of life will begin at 11:30am, with Minister Fredrick Lewis, officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Okeechobee, FL.
