Obituary for Aretha Franklin Moses

Ms. Aretha Franklin Moses, 52, a resident of Riviera Beach, FL peacefully passed away (at 5:22am), at Good Samaritan Hospital in West Palm Beach, FL on Sunday, May 23, 2021.

She was born to the parents of Marail and Mary Moses on September 3, 1968 in Lumpkin, Ga. She also lived Indiantown, FL and was educated in the public schools of Martin County. She graduated from South Fork High
School. She earned an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education. Aretha was a member of Evergreen Missionary Baptist in Indiantown, FL.

Aretha loved life and lived it to the fullest. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Azari Lewis.

She leaves behind to cherish her precious memories: a devoted son, Kenneth O. Mitchell (Lykeisha) of Valdosta, GA; 2 loving daughters, Chanetta Mitchell of Riviera Beach, FL and Allison Mitchell of Indiantown, FL;
7 beautiful grandchildren; devoted parents, Marail and Mary Moses of Indiantown, FL; a brother, Devric Moses (Natoya Dent) of Queens, NY; 4 sisters, Jacqueline Moses of Port St. Lucie, FL, Marilyn Moses of Gainesville, FL, Debra Moses and Mary Moses, both of Port St. Lucie, FL; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors who will miss her dearly.

Arrangements have been entrusted into the care of Thorne's Mortuary in Stuart, FL.
