Obituary for April Jefferson Moore

Mrs. April Nicole Jefferson-Moore, 40, a resident of Jacksonville, FL and former resident of Wabasso, FL, passed away peacefully at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville on March 8, 2018. She was born in Vero Beach, FL to the parents of Henry Holland Jefferson and the late Wanda Jones-Bucknor. April was educated in the public schools of Indian River County and graduated from Vero Beach High School in the Class of 1995. She then attended Bethune Cookman University for several years where she sang and travelled with the Concert Chorale, under the direction of Dr. Rebecca Steele. April married the love of her life Kenith Moore on Christmas Eve, December 24, 2005. She has attend the Wabasso Church of God in Wabasso, FL, Gather's of the Harvest in Vero Beach, FL and at her demise, St. Paul Church of Jacksonville in Jacksonville, FL. April was blessed with a beautiful, melodious voice and loved to praise and worship the Lord with it. She was also a praise dancer along with her sister Candice and they would bless the congregation from time to time with beautiful creative gospel choreography. April had a smile that would lighten up your darkest hour. She was a happy person who loved the Lord with all of her heart and soul, super kind and friendly to everyone. She was preceded in death by her mother, Wanda Jones-Bucknor. Remaining to cherish her precious and sweet memories are: her loving and devoted husband, Kenith M. Moore of Jacksonville, FL; more survivors to follow. Services: Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2018 from 10:30am-12 noon, at he Wabasso Church of God in Wabasso, FL. A homegoing celebration will begin at 12 noon at the church with Pastor Terry Stover Presiding, Bishop John E. Guns, Officiating and Bishop John A. Thorne is Host Pastor. She will await the resurrection at West Wabasso, Cemetery. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 11am in Jacksonville, FL at St. Paul Church of Jacksonville.
