Obituary for Annie Pearl Francis

Annie Pearl Francis, a 56 year old resident of Wabasso, FL went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 23, 2009 at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach, FL. She was born in Vero Beach to the parents of Edward Alexander Munroe and Pearl Douglas Munroe. She attended the public schools of Indian River County and Vero Beach High School. Annie Pearl was a member of the Wabasso Church of God, Wabasso, FL under the pastorship of Bishop John A. Thorne. She served the church as a member of the Adult Sunday School Class and Bible Study Group. She was also a member of the "Kitchen Crew". She was employed by the Indian River School Board as a custodian and worked primarily at the Freshman Learning Center in Vero for over 18yrs. Annie was preceded in death by her father, Edward Alexander Munroe; a daughter, Christine Monroe and a brother, Alfred Monroe. Fond memories of fun, joy, laughter and love will forever remain in the hearts of: a devoted son, Robert Monroe, Daytona Beach, FL; a caring daughter, Edna Monroe of Gifford, FL; her loving mother, Pearl Monroe, Wabasso, FL; 6 kind brothers, John Monroe (Veronsie), Gifford, FL, Bonza Monroe (Debra), Chattanooga, TN, Vernon Monroe, Cocoa, FL, Mark Munroe, Anthony Munroe, and Kendall Munroe, all of Nassau, Bahamas; 3 loving sisters, Annie Doris Jones (Johnny), and Christine Mortimer (Daniel), both of Gifford, FL and Vesta Williams (Hubert) of Nassau, Bahamas; 2 grandchildren, Natasha Wheeler and Shaniquia Monroe, both of Wabasso; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, church family members and friends. Services: Visitation wil be held on Friday, January 30, 2009 from 4pm-7pm at the Wabasso Church of God. A "Homegoing Celebration will be observed on Saturday, January 31, 2009 at 11:00am with Bishop John A. Thorne, Pastor/Officiating. Burial will follow at West Wabasso Cemetery in Wabasso, FL. Thorne's Mortuary, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
