Obituary for Ana Alicia McDew

Ana McDew, 24 a resident of Stuart, FL and formerly of Indian River, Saint Lucie and Palm Beach Counties, died at Martin Memorial Medical Center-North in Stuart, FL on October 26, 2007. She was born in Seoul, Korea. Ana attended Highlands Elementary School and Oslo Middle School both in Indian River County. She graduated from Fort Pierce Central High School in the Class of 2001 (where she was also a cheerleader). Ana was attending Palm Beach Community College, pursuing a RN Degree. She was employed with North Lake Animal Hospital in West Palm Beach, FL as a Veterinarian Technician. Surviving to cherish precious memories are: fiance' Ron Harry of Port Saint Lucie, FL; a son, James Kenneth Logan of Port Saint Lucie, FL; her father, Willie L. McDew, Jr. of Martin County, FL; her mother, Ha Sun Hong-McDew of Kusan, South Korea; brothers, Willie Leo McDew, III of Miami, FL, Ta'Quan Raynal McDew of Wabasso, FL and Ja'Quan Larent of Ft. Pierce, FL; sisters, Willet Nicole McDew of Tallahassee, FL, Brianna Marissa McDew and Briasia Kin-Sha-Sha McDew both of Ft. Pierce, FL; grandparents, Dorothy and Roy Harris of Vero Beach, FL, and Willie L. McDew, Sr. of Ft. Pierce, FL; great-grandmothers, Cozutter Schofield and Elizabeth Bucks of Vero Beach, FL; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, a host of cousins and loving friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 2, at New Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church in Gifford, FL from 4-7pm. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2007 at New Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church in Gifford, FL at 1:00 p.m. with Bishop John A. Thorne, officiating. Burial will follow in Gifford Cemetery. Thorne's Mortuary, Inc. of Stuart in charge of arrangements.
