Ms. Alta Elizabeth Moore, 66 of West Palm Beach, FL departed this life at Hospice of Palm Beach County. She was born in Tallahassee, FL to the parents of the late, James B. Lee and Jessie L. Jones-Lee. Alta attended Palm View Elementary School ad Roosevelt High School in West Palm Beach, FL. Ms. Moore has been a resident of West Palm Beach for over 25 years moving from Jupiter, FL. She was a member of the Jupiter Church of God and was employed for 30 years and a certified nursing assistant in Palm Beach County. Along with her father, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Booker T. Moore, Sr.; son Calvin Lee, Daughter, Denise Moore; and grandsons, David and Dion Moore. Survivors include: 4 sons, Melvin (Bernadette) Lee and David (Renee,) Moore of West Palm Beach, FL, Booker T. Moore, Jr. of Miami, FL and Mark Moore of Riviera Beach, FL; a daughter, Gwen (Gwayne) Baker of Riviera Beach, FL; her mother, Jessie L. Lee of Jupiter, FL; 4 brothers, Jesse B. (Mary) Lee, James M. Lee of Jupiter, FL, Ronny (Brenda) Lee of Royal Palm Beach, FL and Robert (Julie) Lee of Riviera Beach, FL; 3 sisters, Debra (Irvin) Stubbs and Sandra Lee of Jupiter, FL and Cynthia Romero of Lake Park, FL; 37 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other in-law, and friends. Services: Visitation will be private. A "Celebration of Life" will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2009 at 4:00pm at the Jupiter Church of God in Jupiter, FL with the pastor, Bishop Michael E. Reid presiding and Evangelist Edna M. Runner assistant pastor officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Carmel Memorial Park in Jupiter, FL.
