Charles Taylor Watson, Sr.

Mr. Charles Watson, Sr., 71 of Jensen Beach, FL passed away at his residence surrounded by the love of his caring family.

He was born in Port Salerno, FL to the parents of James Watson, Sr. and Janie Mackey.

Charles was educated in the public schools of Martin County, FL and was a member of the Jensen Beach Church of God.

During his lifetime, he was gainfully employed as a groundskeeper in the landscaping industry.

He enjoyed landscaping and had a green thumb for everything that he grew. Charles loved cooking. He attended barbering school in Jacksonville, FL.

Mr. Watson was preceded in death by his father, James Watson, Jr.; a brother, Hezekieh Watson; and his stepfather, Reverend Jesse Hill.

Surviving to forever cherish his precious memories are: a devoted wife, Sarah J. Watson of Jensen Beach, FL; a loving son, Charles Watson, Jr. (Toyka) of Tallahassee, FL; caring daughters, Debra Jackson of Belton, TX and Jamesina Montgomery (Marcus) of Tallahassee, FL; a loving mother, Janie Hill of Jensen Beach, FL; a caring sister, Luvenia W. Cowart of Syracuse, NY; 6 lovely grandchildren; a host of other relatives and sorrowing friends.

Services: Visitation will be held on Friday, February 15, 2013 at the Jensen Beach Church of God in Jensen Beach, FL from 5pm-7pm. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at the church, 11:00am.

Burial will follow at Washington Memorial Cemetery in Jensen Beach, FL;

Arrangements have been entrusted into the care of Thorne's Mortuary in Stuart, FL.
