Brenda Ann Harvard McMiller, 50 of Riviera Beach, FL, passed away at her residence. She was born in Harrisburg, PA to the parents of Sylvester and Ethel Harvard.
At an early age she moved to Florida with her family and has lived in Jupiter, FL and Indiantown, FL.
She graduated from Martin County High School in the class of 1980.
Brenda was employed as a certified nursing assistant with a local health care agency. She was a member of Evergreen First Baptist Church in Indiantown, FL and was a former choir member.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sylvester and Ethel Harvard; and a brother, Sylvester Harvard, Jr.
Survivors include: spouse, Kelvin McMiller, Sr. of Port St. Lucie, FL; 2 sons, Kelvin McMiller, Jr. and John Henry McMiller, Sr., both of Riviera Beach, FL; a sister, Diane Harvard Brown of Atlanta, GA; and 2 grandchildren.
Services: Visitation will be held on Friday, January 4, 2013 at Evergreen First Baptist Church in Indiantown, FL from 4pm-7pm. A homegoing celebration will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2013, 1:00pm at the church with the pastor Reverend Jack Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at Port Mayaca Cemetery in Port Mayaca, FL. A guest book is available at www.thornesmortuary.com.
